Vision Statement

To be a youth department and support group with the spirit of excellence that helps promotes the gifts and callings, whether great or small, of every member and to always demonstrate holiness, the anointing, an effective prayer life, stewardship, and excellence both spiritually and naturally.

Mission Statement

Greater Christ Temple Youth Department Staff will achieve its vision by acting in the best interest of its members under the guidance and direction of our Pastor and Youth Pastor. We will coordinate programs that will teach, instruct, and allow our youth to grow spiritually while maintaining a high regard for holiness. We will work to create a family feeling within our department with a “No Youth Left Behind” mentality. We will help to support the up building of our church with our monetary contributions.

Core Goals for 2011

  • Every Young Person knows and can recite the Plan of Salvation.
  • Twice a month Youth Nights on a regular basis
  • Embrace every new Young Persons that joins our church and immediately make them feel apart of our family.
  • Create a Young People’s Department Welcome Packet and procedure to help keep track of new saints coming into the Youth Department
  • Establish a one on one relationship between the Youth Pastor and the Young People
  • Meet and/or exceed our financial obligation for our Auxiliary
  • Strive to have more young people added to the department by the end of the year and maintain those that were apart of the department at the beginning of the year
