Encouragement
A book is defined as "a written or printed work consisting of pages glued or sewn together along one side and bound in covers". While the Bible is indeed a book and truly adheres to this definition it is not limited to it.
Yet after having experienced Jesus more thoroughly we find that there is life in those words. Power that causes them to leap off the pages and into the very heart of our situations. Those words come alive and we begin to hear Jesus speaking to us through them. We pray that this happens for you also as you read through our short encouraging notes below.
- Abiding In The Shadow - I think one of the greatest advantages of being saved is being able to surrender our troubles to Jesus and rest in his peace. How awesome to have this secret hiding place.
- Bound For Greatness - There are many things that have the potential to bind us even after we have become saved. But remember this my friends above all you are Bound For Greatness!
- Finding Peace In Mental Prison - In a perfect world our lives after salvation would be an endless string of blissful days without interruption. But the reality is that some days are better than others.
- Pressing Through Oppression - Faith is easy when things are going well and you are having a mountain top experience. But what happens when you are in the valley and even after calling Jesus’ name you still don’t feel him near?
- Rising Above The Pain - As children of God we expect to be hurt by those around us and we are largely not surprised when it happens. But what happens to us when we are hurt by those we hold nearest to our hearts?
